Dear Charlotte,
Today you woke me up by slapping me in the face with a plastic gum ball machine. I have no idea where this toy came from or why you had it in your little hand when you jumped into bed with me, but you cut my eyelid and, according to Morgan, the side of my face is “puffy”. You were sorry, though. You gave me a couple hugs and said, “Poor Mommy” a few times....
